Pb-Zn ore divides into sulfide Pb-Zn ore and oxide Pb-Zn ore. Flotation is the most widely used in separating sulfide Pb-Zn ore, to separate zinc and plumbum, sometimes for separating sulfide iron and other minerals. Sulfide Pb-Zn ore process divides into priority flotation process, mix-separating flotation, asynchronous flotation, and so on.
The deposit was characterized by carbonatite. The raw ore consisted of two metallic minerals (galena and blende) and one gangue mineral (diopside). The max feeding size is 400mm. 50% size is 100mm,25% size is 150mm & 25% size is 400mm. It had a grade of 5.61g/t.
1 . Two-stage closed-circuit crushing-one-stage self-grinding and lead roughing concentrates regrinding-differential flotation-two-stage dewatering.
2 . After the raw ore was ground, lead concentrates were produced through one-stage roughing, three-stage scavenging and three-stage concentration, with a recovery of 92%.
3 . The dehydration operation was carried out by disc vacuum filter, and the dehydration rate was more than 95%.
The processing capacity of this project was 1200t/d, and the final products were lead concentrate and zinc concentrate. The grade of lead concentrate and zinc concentrate was 56.03% and 51.85% respectively.
